Fifty New Eco-Friendly Homes for South Harrow Regeneration

Little Northolt, South Harrow, HA2 8ES

Clearview Homes are proving to be, the London Borough of Harrow’s most pro-active and prolific, developer and house builder. They have again proved successful in obtaining planning approval for a landmark development in South Harrow.

Permission has been granted to create 50 eco-friendly homes. The 49 flats and 1 house will be built on the old filling station site close to Sainsbury.

“Meeting higher “code levels” of sustainability will mean homes that are environmentally friendly, tranquil, temperate and economic to run at a time when energy costs are rising,” stated Stephen Murphy, Clearview’s MD.

“We are absolutely delighted to be part of South Harrow’s regeneration”, he continued, and this ratifies our commitment to West London.

This is Clearview Homes’ fourth development in the London borough of Harrow since 2007. Their current development of two and three bedroom houses in Alexandra Avenue will shortly be coming to the market.

He went on to affirm “Like all developers and house builders we are swimming against a strong recessive economic current. This is a positive result which vindicates our recession busting strategy in difficult times”.

Clearview Homes purchased the site without planning permission and, along with one of the country’s leading architects, Assaels, also based in West London, created a design and environment that “ticked all the boxes” of sustainable development and local needs.

“The in-put of the Harrow Planning Department with positive suggestion and clear advice as to their local needs was a huge advantage and, created a successful team effort”. Mr Murphy stated.

Ten of the units will be allocated for South Harrow’s social housing requirements.
