Clearview Homes is strengthening its team with the appointment of Barry Knowler as Managing Director. Barry has over thirty years’ experience working in the housebuilding industry, starting at the age of 15 as an apprentice carpenter for Laing Construction.

Barry has worked for a number of major housebuilders during his career, including Laing Homes, Crest Homes, Barratt and Michael Shanly Homes where he was Construction Director. More recently Barry spent seven years being retained by a Family Office.

Barry comments, “I am delighted to have joined Clearview Homes and look forward to leading the team and building on the successes that have been achieved over recent years.

Clearview Homes was set up in 1991 and is still run by its original founders Stephen Murphy and Ray Dias. The company has grown from a start-up company into an award winning medium sized developer and has seen year-on-year growth.

Barry, 49 lives in Meopham in Kent with his wife and children.
